I have an iPhone 4s. I still have iOS 7 on it, as I heard that the later versions of iOS does not make the iPhone 4S work very well and too heavy. The latest update for the iPhone 4s is iOS 9.3.5. My question is: what should I do? Update or stay with

It depends upon what you want to do with it and how you use it. I often leave older systems running on hardware because they run more smoothly on that hardware and if something does what I need it to then why do anything to upset things? There are various "security and bug" considerations, but they fix one bug and replace it with others. As for security, 95% of that is in what you do and in 25 years of having a somewhat easygoing attitude to security I have yet to see anything suspicious happen on my computer.

If your iPhone 4s is running fine and you do not need the newest iOS version (for instance, apps that you need to run require a higher version of iOS), stay where you are in regards to iOS.

Note that if you choose to stay on a lower iOS version than your device qualifies for, if you ever need to restore your device for any reason, the newest iOS that your device qualifies for will be downloaded and installed on it. You cannot get around this on a restore of the device.

Thank u for the answer. I have noticed that my phone has been running slower than usual recently and also I tried to download an application called camviews and it does not open on my phone despite seeing it open on a someone's iPhone 4s.??

My iPhone 4s has 64 GB storage on it, out of which I used 22GB. I am wondering whether this slow down is because of the number of applications that I have on the phone or the 22 GB storage that I used or I need to upgrade my iOS 7 ??

Thanks
