windows 10 operating system gives error after I add a new partition

Hey guys,

I have got a MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) with processor 1,6 GHz Intel Core i5, memory 8 GB 160MHz DDR3 operating macOS Sierra Version 10.12.3

I have installed and been using Windows 10 on my Mac, however; I added an additional partition and now Windows gives an error and does not start-up. I have read loads of discussions, I have tried the solution that Loner T explained as following:

sudo fdisk -e /dev/disk0

setpid 4

flag 4

write

but when I type 'write' and press return key, terminal tells me that "fdisk: /dev/disk0: Operation not permitted"

What can I do about this? Can you please help me?

MacBook Air, macOS Sierra (10.12.3)

I used the steps but it did not work :/ still the same blue screen, nothing has changed

You will need to run Startup Repair from the W10 Installation media. We have only corrected partitioning information.

I tried to open with safe mode but it returns just the same error page :/ I think I don't know how to run startup repair if it is not the safe mode that you mean

Of course it is possible to remove windows but I will lose my files :/ what is EFI Boot by the way?

If you already have applications installed, is it possible to re-install them? Can you see your non-Application files in the Windows partition from the OSX Finder to be able to back them up?

Yes I have the access to thosw files, I will back-up them. But how can I install Windows on EFI Boot, can you give me a link or something?

A Hybrid MBR is a mapping mechanism between more modern disks and older legacy BIOS view of them. Please see http://www.rodsbooks.com/gdisk/hybrid.html for a very good explanation and details.

I have got a 8GB USB driver, I have installed the Windows 10 iso image, although it is 4,38 GB, I get the error that says this file is too large while I try to copy it to my USB driver

You need to mount the ISO and copy the contents of the ISO, not the ISO file itself. A FAT32 file system does not support individual files which are larger than 4GB.
