Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
A few days ago my screen started to flicker. It looks like it rapidly turns on and off. It happens now and then and seems to end if one moves the mouse cursor to the top of the screen. I think it started after upgrading to macOs Sierra 10.12.3. Anyone else has this problem?

I have been having this same issue where my screen will start to flicker in a certain area it looks like a bunch of white bars at first I thought it was part of the video then I refreshed the page and they were no longer there. I had the 2017 MacBook Pro non touchbar this is the second unit I have had this problem with not identical but similar. I am patiently waiting for apple to release a new version of the MacBook Pro as I do not trust the current version after having heard of this issue so many times and experienced it on 2 of my own
Please fix apple In need of a reliable machine!

It just disappeared because you are no longer using the "dead" graphics card (internal). My MacBook went yesterday to service. // In your case, You have a two GFX.
Like I said – the graphics have died, they will also exchange the screen and the keyboard because there are repair programs...

It still depends on your problem, I see that some did not have exactly what I did - in my case it was necessary to replace the motherboard (integrated graphics died). Today I have my MB to receive.
I had this problem after upgrading on High sierra. Turning off FileVault worked for me. After that no glitch when waking up the system.
Hardware, there should be a repair program for this Intel "shitttyy" graphic. I got a guarantee, but what if it happens again ...
i had similar problem but no help from apple . i found that it is gone when i complete open my screen portion and comes back when i try to fold it a bit
Have you tried changing the Refresh Rate from 60 to 50 Hz, or 50 to 60 Hz if it's already set?
Can you describe the screen flicker a bit better? or better still record it?
I had similar issues for a half of year with JetBrains ToolBox running. I have resolved it by quit app and remove from auto start up. Hope it helps someone.
