aws2 problem with ios 10.2.1

Hi, after updating my iphone 6s to IOS 10.2.1 I am having problems; first that after the update apple watch was connected and paired but somehow I was missing the notifications in watch; so I had to airplane model ON and OFF in watch in order that it could receive the notifications again; but not I have a strange behaviour in iphone; even that I am using the watch, unlocked of course, receiving notifications normally, sometimes the phone vibrates and I do not know why... is it anyone having any other problem after this IOS update?

Hi

The following steps may help:

If you have not yet done so, also update your Apple Watch to the latest software:

Restart both your iPhone and your watch:

Unpair and re-pair your watch:

Hi

There is a difference between your watch being "unpaired" vs it becoming temporarily "disconnected".

Once they have been paired, your watch and iPhone remain paired until they are manually unpaired. However, they can become disconnected or connected (multiple times) whilst remaining paired.

Disconnections can be normal, such as when the watch loses the Bluetooth connection with the paired iPhone and no known Wi-Fi network is available to your watch. When disconnected, Apple Watch still offers various features:

Your watch and iPhone should reconnect automatically a short while after being brought close together again. If they do not, keep your iPhone and watch close by each other and follow these steps until they do:

  • Check that both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your iPhone:
    • It may help to toggle Bluetooth off and on again on your iPhone (Settings > Bluetooth).
    • For the best performance from your watch, keep both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi permanently enabled on your iPhone.
  • Check that Airplane Mode is not enabled on your watch:
    • When viewing the time on your watch, swipe up on the watch face to open Control Centre.
    • If your watch is not connected and Airplane Mode is turned on, tap the button to turn it off.
    • It may otherwise help to toggle Airplane Mode on and off again.
  • Restart both devices, turning both off together, then restarting your iPhone first.
  • If they still do not reconnect, unpair and re-pair your watch (choose to Restore from Backup when re-pairing):

Thanks for your suggestions @Jonathan.

It was not clear for me if I should only restarting the apple watch or re-pairing it; and what re-pairing means, only unconnect/reconnect it to iphone or to erase everything and reinstall again, like I did when I installed it first time?

I still miss informations on why this is hapening, or if this is related to the updated and new iOS version, or even if this can happen every time that I restart my iphone.

Best.

Althouth you're explaining that this can happen, I have used both for some weeks before this update and have never experienced that. I will try to turn it off/on and see if it fix, if not to unpair/pair, and hope that it works.

About the keeping it always updated, I am becoming very resistent to be early adopter of software updates, as we see a lot of complains related to battery drain and other problems in iphone and aw[1,2]. So I guess for now I will keep my aws2 in version 3.1.

Thanks

I've updated my a2s2 to the latest watchOS version, waited a couple days to see the result but still getting annyoing vibrations from the phone... and as the screen not is turned off in notifications, I dont know why it is vibrating... actually if I compare the notifications in the watch and those in the iphone, they're the same, it means that it just seems some ghost or not logged notifications...

I would appreciate any other help.
