My MacBook Pro is not recognizing my external webcam
I have an external webcam that I use regularly to film videos on my laptop. I have never had a problem with it before. Usually once I plug it into the USB, PhotoBooth automatically defaults to the external camera once opened.
Today I plugged the external webcam in as usual and instead of recognizing it, it is now a black screen saying "There is no connected camera." and will not even allow me to use my built-in FaceTime webcam. Two changes have been made to my computer since I last used the external cameral and that is my fiancee added 8 gb of RAM to my computer and I upgraded to Sierra. How do I either get my MacBook to recognize my external camera, or allow me the use of my built in webcam?
