Incoming phone calls on iPad not ringing when locked

After upgrading my iPad to 10.2.1, incoming FaceTime calls no longer ring or announce calls while iPad is locked... I can't imagine that this is a feature change as it makes no sense... Anyone else experienced this?

Hi, ahwman.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! It seems that you're no longer hearing the ringtone or receiving notifications for incoming FaceTime calls on the lock screen after updating your iPad to iOS 10.2.1. I'll be happy to help.
Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- First, force close FaceTime if it's open, then Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- Have a someone try to reach you through FaceTime with your iPad locked.
Use Notifications on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you don't see notifications for a specific app

To get notifications, connect to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. If you don't get notifications for a specific app, try these steps:

  1. Make sure that the app supports notifications. Go to Settings > Notifications, select the app, and make sure that Notifications are turned on.
  2. If you have notifications turned on for an app but you're not receiving alerts, the alert style might be set to None. Go to Settings > Notifications and check that your Alert Style is set to Banners or Alerts.
  3. Make sure that you’re signed in to your Apple ID. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores and enter your Apple ID and password.
  4. Make sure that Do Not Disturb is turned off. Go to Settings > Do Not Disturb and tap Manual if it's turned on.
  5. If you’ve recently installed an app or restored from a backup, open the app to start getting notifications.

Let me know how that goes and have a good day!

I have a similar issue, since iOS10, except the call appears but it´s silent. It's silent when it's a phone call, but it rings if it's a FaceTime call (audio or video). One more thing... LOL if I missed the call, if it's a FaceTime one I have the notification on the lockscreen + the 1 red thing on FaceTime app. But if it's phone call, nothing... If I missed it, I have nothing to know. I tried to restore the iPad as new, etc nothing... I even restored all my devices as new during one weekend, still the same. The mac shows everything fine, the Apple Watch too, but for some reason the iPad has trouble. Is it an iOS 10 bug? Before it working fine.

I've already checked all the usual settings and that's not the issue. This behavior started imeeditately after upgrading from iOS 10.2 to 10.2.1. I have changed no settings on my side and my iPad used to play the appropriate ringtone and announce the caller name even when my iPad was locked. That's no longer the case. Hard reboot has also been tried to no avail. Reported it as a bug on the Apple support site...
