Profile Manager Browser Redirecting to Devices Page

Hello,

When I try to click on the 'Open in Safari' button in the Profile Manager section of Server.app, after having enabled Device Management and turned on the Profile Manager service, the log in page redirects to itself, and then when I log in a second time, it takes me to the My Devices page instead.

I am unsure what the issue could be (I doubt it has anything to do with my DNS settings as I have reviewed these extensively), and can't seem to find a similar problem posted in the community or online.

After much experimenting and reading through the Apple community and online, I have found a solution to my own version of this issue. If you look at the Website service, you may notice one of the default sites has a default redirect set up. Delete the redirect and your problem may be solved. It was for me.

To add some informations, when I try to access the Profile Manager site directly, using server.example.com/profilemanager, I receive the following message:

Not Found

The requested URL /profilemanager was not found on this server.

Apache Server at server.example.com Port 80
