edit text after saving to photo using markup

After saving photo with text using 'markup' I'm having a hard time editing...

*using iPhone 7 (iOS)*

There seems to be very little in the way of "user friendly" or helpful options for markup which I've never come across before using an apple product. Granted the text options are obvious (style, size, etc) but no menu or anything to help you go back & fix mistakes or redo layout other than the "undo" button.

I'd like to know how to get back into the text I've already saved with the photo and change it if possible. Thanks!

The Markup txt will be burned into the photo. It does not create layers that can be edited separately. If you do not want to lose the previous edits if you need to change the markup text, create a duplicate of your photo and add the markup to the duplicate. Photos is meant as tool to develope and enhance your photos, but not as a tool for graphics compositing like Photoshop or Pixelmator.

If you want advanced tools for adding Graphics to photos and handling graphics layers, you need a different app.
