iTunes is "not a valid Win32 application"

while verifying iTunessetup.exe, an error message pops up that says the temporary file is not a valid Win32 application. does anyone know how to fix this or know what i can do to make iTunes work?? thanks...

After being on hold forever and then told it would cost me $30 for apple to troubleshoot, the lady at apple told me that since there are so many people trying to download itunes 7, the server is jammed up and to keep trying. so, i did. After about 10 attempts it downloaded successfully.So keep trying or try late at night when so many people aren't clogging up apple's server. Hope this helps.
