I have an 11x17 document in horizontal format that I want to print "Scale to Print" or "Fit to Page". I clicked the appropriate setting in "Paper Handling." It printed out on 8.5x11 but vertical rather than horizontal and horizontal layout selected. Frustrated.

I see that you are having issues printing a "Scale to Print" or "Fit to Page" document.

Start with the following article on printing: macOS Sierra: Print documents This article covers basic printing settings, including orientation. Either portrait or landscape (vertical or horizontal) orientation.
