Hi, again i think i asked this question to wrong community.
Im doing tafe/college course and have had no trouble up to now opening assignment files. this time could open one but safari counldnt open the other tried installing several file reader's from app store ,, nothing, any suggestions would be appreciated... thanks.

As Phil already pointed out, it is a Microsoft Access database file. I don't know of any Mac program that will open an Access database, even for just viewing.
You would need Microsoft Access running in a Windows environment to open that file.

I sent info to another, but what it say's when i try to open it is'
Safari cannot open this file.
"AppsfurnitureClientSales.accdb"
In all my assignments i click on this and it downloads for me.
Any idea's.Im only learning mac

You may want to look at this…
We'd have to know what program created the files. Do they have an extension? What is it?
So what type of files are these that won't open?
What extension do they have if any?
You need to tell us about the files you are trying to open otherwise we cannot suggest anything.

It say's Safari can't open file "AppsFurnitureClientSales.accdb" because no available application can open it
Its to do an assignment for spreadsheets and this is the business.
accdb is a Microsoft Access Database File, presumably you would need Microsoft Access to open it.

Sorry should also add, the course I'm doing they use windows and i have told them that i want to use mac I've been successful up till now, they don't like it but i prefer mac.

FWIW, I downloaded ACCDB MDB Explorer to test and it seems to work as advertised. Runs on Sierra.
Thought I would mention it in case someone else needs to open Access files on their Macs.
