iPod Nano's playing videos - THE VERDICT?

I just got a brand new iPod Nano (blue) for Xmas yesterday!
And I've already begun personalizing it and searching version tracker for some helpful apps to organise stuff
(not that iTunes isn't great!)

But whilst surfing I came across a few websites stating you can get your ipod to play videos.

http://www.theplaceforitall.com/linuxnano/
&
http://ipodlinux.org/Video_Player

This interests me, but I don't want to muck up my new ipod.
So just wondered if anyone's tried it or think it looks dodgy.
I'll check for replies later!
Thanks!

And like many similar posts regardign this topic ...they have all been locked. What has yet to be mentioned of any of these hacks is that it VOIDS YOUR WARANTY. The choice is yours of course ...but why not think logically and realize that you can simply sell your nano and buy the larger 5th gen ipod.THat will play video content and games. THen ask why not just to this and Not rely on some some unsuported hack!?!?!?!?!

GFF:)

The iPod nano does not support video. The processor is not strong enough, along with other things.

Also, do not try iPod Linux, even though you might hear that its awesome.

1. Even iPod Linux does not support iPod nano downloads.
2. Voids any Warranty you have on your iPod.
3. Not unusual for it to leave your iPod as a large domino, and with no warranty, you're out of luck.
4. Is it really worth it to watch video on a 1.5 inch screen?
5. Video takes up a lot of space, and iPod nanos don't have much to spare.

I hope this helps!
