How do I install a Canon MG 3520 Printer / Scanner

My Printer currently works in a limited fashion without a formal installation. I see from the Canon Web site that

there is a driver for the apple machine. I also see from your "help" menu that this printer is supported in the

operating system. How do I get a full capability? Do I just have to download the driver? Please advise.

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

yup, pretty much, Whatifwe. Usually Apple handles the driver part of printers, as it may be built into the OS, and you just go to System preference, then fax and printing, and "add printer" and usually, as you have found, it works. so, if you like, download the driver from Canon's website and install it. Not too hard to do. In some cases, some more trickery is involved, but not in this one.
