iPhone 4 disabled for 46 years- 24 million minutes?

Hi so about two years ago I lost my iPhone 4 but but it turns out it was turned into the police he next day and shipped to my uncle and I never knew for the longest time and just now I'm getting it back because he lived so far away. I was esatic until I turned it on to find out it had been disabled and the date is Wednesday December 31st with no year- which does not align up to the last time it had a working SIM card/ charged battery? I was up about how I could put a working one in that phone and since that allows it to sync up with the cell towers? But I'd really love to get my pictures from this phone. I never got them because my iCloud was full. I don't want to wipe it. Is there any way? Or why this might have happened?

The phone will reset the date to dec 31 1970 after battery disconnect or severe battery drainage--which means that after a failed passcode attempt the phones counter for disabled is off.

You might get another shot at the countdown and be able to enter the passcode if you charge the phone and then either connect to a wifi router that the phone has connected to before (which will happen automatically if you are nearby) or by inserting an active SIM, or by just letting it connect to iTunes. Once it updates to current time, use power and home to force the phone to restart and see if the countdown is reasonable and then enter passcode.

If that doesn't work you can try to update, not restore by forcing the phone to recovery mode (by booting with USB connected and holding home button) then let iTunes update software. If you do this on a computer it has connected to before it may give you a crack at the passcode.

If you don't know the passcode there is no native path to data--however if it is indeed and iPhone 4 and not a 4s then data recovery is possible by professionals. Apple can't help you with data recovery.
