Mail Application: folders within Inbox have disappeared

I mistakenly touched something on the keyboard that made the folders within Inbox to disappear. I checked Preferences and every option but cannot find those folders in Mail.

The folders do appear in Mail on the Cloud however.

What am I missing? Thanks very much.

Thanks very much to all of you for your suggestions.

I was at the Genius Bar on another matter and discovered the answer.........with help of course.

There is a "+" and a "-" underneath the primary folders. I apparently hit the "-" button, which then hid the subfolders. So the "+" button was visible and the folders appeared after stroking the lucky "+" so this is one of those strange things that happen when a key is mistakenly hit without knowledge.
