Can't login to Tumblr on Safari

Safari can’t open a website

Safari - Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues

Safari doesn't load a page or webpage items are missing

Web Content not responding

If you have not done this already, go step by step and test.

1. Empty Caches

Safari > Preference > Advanced

Checkmark the box beside "Show Develop menu in menu bar".

Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.

Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.

Note: This will remove all favicons (website icons).

2. Delete Cookies

Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and Website Data...:

Click the “Manage Website Data” button.

It will take a while for cookies to show up.

Remove all cookies except ones from Apple, your internet service provider and banks.

3. Disable Extensions and test.

Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Uncheck boxes beside “Enable Extension” and test.

Enable Extensions one by one and test.

To uninstall any extension, select it and click the “Uninstall” button.

Having exact same issue. Very frustrating. Tumblr giving me the unplug your computer and wait 20 seconds run-around. Could this be a JAVA code issue? I'm not using JAVA and would rather not install it. The input field is missing, if hovering over where the input field should be, the cursor may change from Arrow to I input mode, but then the first keystroke causes jump to a pre-login screen.

I had the same issue but turns out the login field box disappears if you have scaled down your browser.

Zoom out to 100% and it will reappear(at least it did for me)!

Thank you so so much @uchihakai - by zooming 100% it worked. For the first time in months I have been able to login from Safari.

It could be a server side issue.Wait a while and see what happens.
