Missing favicons on Safari tabs

Missing favicons on Safari tabs

Recently I have lost favicons on tabs in Safari and it just shows a mesh world icon.

How do I fix this? Or is this a known bug in Safari 10.0.3?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12), 8gb ram

You would need to ask the Apple Software Engineer(s) that created this version of Safari.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.

Favicons on tab is no more a Safari feature.

That feature is removed.

Are you sure, because the bookmarks are still using favicons....?

Yes. Favorites and other bookmarks will show favicons and text, but tabs will show only text.

Pinned tabs will show favicons.
