99 44/100% SCAM
Unless you are involved in an on-going email exchange with Apple _AND_ you started it, Apple is not going to connect you.
Do not click on any of the links. Do not call any of the phone numbers. Do not enter your Apple ID and password. Do not give them credit card information. Do not give them access to your system. Do not install any software they suggest.
When it comes to email, and links, you can look at the RAW original email with all the email headers. A real email from Apple will have apple.com origins all the way back to the first source. And every URL in the RAW email will have valid apple.com destinations.
A SCAM will have destinations that are not Apple, so they will be something like "apple-scammer.com" trying to trick you into thinking it just an alternate Apple domain.
In Apple Mail, you would use Mail -> View -> Message -> Raw Source (Command-Option-U). If you use another email client, it will have a similar way to view the email source. And yes it looks like a bunch of gobbledygook, but it can be helpful.
On they other hand, just assume if it is an unsolicited email, it is a SCAM. Because it most likely is.
