White cubes on the bottom of the screen and touchscreen acts randomly

Hello, I have an iPhone 5c, sometimes the touchscreen acts randomly (clickes itself mainly on the bottom, bottom-left and very seldom bottom-right) and sometimes on the bottom of it's screen appear white cubes and then I can use the whole screen, except the bottom part where the cubes are.

Please help me!!!

Hi Karen,

I understand that your iPhone doesn't always respond to touch across the entire display, and sometimes you have a distorted image where it won't respond. I'm happy to provide some troubleshooting to help with this issue.

The below articles include troubleshooting for both of the issues that you've mentioned:

No, the image isn't distorted, it is ok, but sometimes the screen touches itself when it is open/unlocked, when I lock then unlock it, it becomes good and I can use it again as normal. And sometimes white cubes appear on the bottom of the screen and then I can use the whole screen except the bottom, touch won't work on cubes.

I just want to know what it is and what caused it. If it is a hardware or a software problem. Will this problem disappear if I change the LCD or just the cable or touch chip on the board?!

hi there the only solution I found is if you have dropped your phone and cracked the screen the touch sensors are probally not working right to fix this you have to replace the whole screen and the white squares if they are really sall they are most likely burnt pixils from the lcd screed and the only cure for that is to also replace the screen hope this helps

Hello, thanks for the response

This is a used phone I've bought from previous owner and I'm not sure if he's dropped it or not but the screen is intact. That cubes appear very seldom. The main problem is that the screen touches itself (mostly when heated from using or from keeping in hand) it can happen 2-3 times a day or once in month, I can't figure the reason out. The interesting part is that the problem disappears when I lock-unlock the screen once or twice.
