MacBook Pro Touch Bar 13" not a glass display ?

Hello everyone,

I recently bought the Touch Bar MacBook Pro. I just notice that the screen of the machine flexes when somebody touches it. So, the screen of the new MacBook is actually a kind of soft material--not glass on the surface. Is that true ?

Thank you for your time.

Some have referred to glasses as "super-cooled liquids", but this description is less than ideal for understanding their behavior. The theory that they "flow" over centuries-long time periods has been debunked as not true.

A Physicist would explain to you that objects made of glasses are not rigid, crystalline objects, but amorphous non-crystalline solids. Glasses Can Bend, but when their elastic limit is reached, they do not deform but will break, sometimes is a fairly spectacular way.

The trackpad in your new MacBook pro is also made of silver colored glass. It relies on stress sensors measuring its deformity under pressure to indicate what pressure is being applied.
