How do stop callers from automatically being added to my blocked caller list?

When someone calls my iPhone the caller is automatically added into the blocked caller list - when I clear the list it seems to be fine for a day or two, but then it happens again.

I have removed people multiple times from the blocked list and they are going back over and over - it is getting ridiculous.

I can see this is happening to many people over the years on Apple Community threads - but no one has answers.

I am missing calls from senior executives and this needs to stop.

Please help !!!

Hi The Yarni,

From your post I gathered that incoming callers are being automatically added to the blocked caller list. You have cleared the list but yet the issue will return in a couple days. I can see it is very important that you receive your calls. I'll be happy to help.

Are you using any third party apps that may be blocking the calls?

Detect and block spam phone calls with third-party apps

I'd also like you have you do the following:

Remove any callers that you don't want on the blocked list
Close out of the Phone and Contacts apps
Restart the iPhone
Test on the next incoming call

Block phone numbers and contacts or filter messages on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Hi Starr.C,

I have cleared the blocked callers list - noting they are coming back regularly, but not every time I receive a call...

There are no 3rd party apps installed that are authorised to block callers.

I have also restarted multiple times.

The phone does have a corporate MDM profile, but this doesn't seem to be there issue - I've undergone direct investigation from the company exec IT team.

Could something on another device with the same iTunes / iCloud account cause something like this perhaps?
