launchpad shows download all the time

As per this article : Safari for Mac: If Safari can’t download an item from the web

• Sometimes a download is incomplete because the file was damaged. Try downloading it again.
• Make sure you have the app needed to open the file. If you do, the file may have been corrupted during the download. Delete it and try downloading it again.

It resides without problems in my Dock. Matter of fact, I believe "by default" it is present in the Dock.

Mac Basics: Launchpad is the fast way to find and open your apps - Apple Support states: "Click the Launchpad icon in the Dock."

Removing/adding an application to the Dock, is routine, and not considered "experimenting with the apps."

Battery consumption is not affected by "keeping apps in the dock."

Go the to user library > preferences > right click on com.apple.appstore.plist and com.apple.LaunchServices.QuarantineEventsV2 and drag them to the desktop .

Open the web browser and App Store , Again enter in the user library and same in the preferences folder the plist must be created after few minutes , if it is conformed , drag the plists into the trash , restart and empty the trash .

How to enter in user library : click on go to go folder & type ~/Library

Thanks for the article but I have read somewhere in the apple article that a little bit of battery is consumed , keeping the apps in the dock , so for my convenience I never keep apps in the dock and reduced the icon size , only finder and trash is there .
