mail is not syncing between devices

My mail is not syncing across devices...if I delete on my iPhone it's still on my desktop...is there a fix for this?

Numbers-OTHER, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Is in in the inbox or the All Mail/Archive folder? If the second, go to the Gmail website, access your account and disable the folder.

On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud the make sure Mail is selected.

Also, your Mac and devices must be using the same Apple iD (iCloud account) in order to sync data.

Is the mail account an IMAP account or POP account? Who is the e-mail provider?
