I'll provide as much detail as possible.
Running OS version 8.3 on my iPad Air. I have an older iPad with the exact same issue.
1) Which device model - ME993LL/B - iPad Air - OS 8.3
2) Do you use the app or web app - I have tried both the app and going directly to the website.
3) Wi-fi or mobile datas - Wi-fi only. My iPads do not have mobile data capability. I can watch videos on my Smartphone using both Wi-fi and mobile data.
4) I have rebooted several times.
4) Where do you come from - I live in the U.S.
Again, I have had no previous problem watchingDailymotionvideos as recently as last week and do not recall changing any settings. I can access the website and select a video, but all I get is a black video screen. And no issues with YouTube, Vimeo, or any other streaming videos.
Could this be related to a specific App or Safari Setting?
I stalled on updating to OS 9. Now the only option is to update to OS 10 and I've read of people having problems with 10 and wanting to go back to OS 9.
Can and should I update to OS 10 if I never updated to OS 9?
Hoping someone can help.
