Remote Volumes

Why does my mini shows 2 Remote Volumes in Finder? I didn't set-up anything to be accessed remotely...

One of the volumes is named "network" & the other is named "remote." I feel like there is probably an explanation for them. I just wonder why they are called "remote" volumes... From reading on this site it appears that one of them "remote disc" is related to a DVD sharing interface. It shows up on the sidebar under devices. But then on the sidebar, under devices, when I click on the "Jeff's Mac-mini," it opens up the next finder window that lists the hard drive, external backup drive, then the remote volumes. When I try open them, nothing is listed. I do have Bonjour checked..User uploaded fileUser uploaded file
