I am new to the mac community. I just got iMac and MacBook Pro
When I insert image or add hyperlink to a file, it works fine, but when I move the PowerPoint file to different device, all pics and linked files location are lost.
I need to combine all pic in the PowerPoint file not getting them from external location. Same thing to external files, they are in the same folder, how can I linked them without the need to use the whole path.
The way to successfully use links in a PPT presentation and move the file is to place the presentation file and all linked files in the same folder before linking them. Then copy the entire folder to a flash drive (or onto a cloud drive) and test the copy. (It should work.) When you give the presentation on another computer the run it from the flash drive (or cloud drive) and it should work as expected. - the alternative is to embed the files in the presentation. It will be larger but there's less to remember (and go wrong)
