Missing App Icon Artwork

Missing App Icon Artwork

Many of my apps icons are missing their artwork and show up as just a generic icon. They work - just no artwork in iTunes - the artwork is there if when I add them to my iPad or iPhone - just not on iTunes. How do I get them back?

Any assistance would be appreciated

if that happened to me, I would use iTunes' menu to do:

File > Library > Get Album Artwork

Yes, I know you are not talking about albums.

I thought so too I've tried it a few different ways- but alas nope - didn't work. Made sure I was in apps not music - but on the upside - my album art was updated.
