My Apple Maps favourites have disappeared

Had this issue twice. It’s now end 2017 and this (obviously server-side) issue still hasn’t been fixed by Apple.

As much as I wanted to try Apple Maps, this issue will keep me from doing that. I've tried and tried to contact people from Apple about this issue and all I got were dumb a $$ responses like you got. Restart my iPhone? (Must think I'm an idiot)

Reset my iPhone? No... That's total BS

So I'll stick with Waze and Google maps.

I have the same issue, all my maps favorites are gone from all my devices (iphone, ipad and macbook). The only that changes recently is the new IOS update and a car play connection with a new car.

Now I lost tons of precious favourites and I don't see how to restore them...

Further diagnosis in case it helps: my Maps Favorites disappeared from 3 devices on the same iCloud account (iPhone, iMac, MacBook Air). This would seem to suggest a problem on the server side that is unlikely to be fixed by restarting the iPhone.

However I have an old iPhone 5 used as a music server at home, that was logged into the same iCloud account but has Location Services disabled. The Favorites did not disappear from that iPhone.

I have the same issue as all. I had about 30 favorites saved and poof they all of a sudden disappeared one day. I have reset to factory and set up as a new iPhone, factory and restore from iCloud backup, erase all content and settings and set up as new iPhone as well as from iCloud backup, signed in and out of iCloud as well and nothing and that is the same on the iPad as well. This needs to get fixed and until then I am sticking to Google Maps

This just happened to me for the first time ever (iPhone 6, iOS 10.3.2). I really don't want to restore a backup to get these back, and regress other data. It's annoying because I had just Favorited a couple of obscure locations this weekend by dropping pins where I happened to be - difficult to recreate without being there !

Hmmm, my Favorites have magically reappeared in the last few minutes ! I'm taking the opportunity to Share each of them to a new Note titled "Maps Favorites Backup". Now as long as Maps and Notes don't both go dark at the same time, I should be OK.

This is the 3rd time in the last week that I lost my Apple map favorites. I keep putting in about 15 locations. It works great for 2-3 days and then it just disappears and says I have no favorites.

I turned my iPhone off and on as someone here suggested but that did not work. Very frustrating experience. Anyone have any idea why this happening?

I am on an iPhone 6 Plus with 64GB of memory.

I am in the same trouble as everyone.
Register more than 50 favorites, and after a few days all will disappear suddenly.
I repeat this five more times. I do not use icloud.
Maybe it takes time to display my favorites, maybe I will bring the data from the server.
Meanwhile, the transfer in progress mark on the screen is rotating. After all the favorites have disappeared, this mark is rotating without stopping.
Obvious system malfunction. I'd like you to patch the map.

PLEASE!!!

This doesn't fix the issue of the dissapearing favourites! Just a bandaid to restore before iOS screwedup.

I would like to know qhat is causing it so I can fix it!

I have the same problem... All my favorites disappeared from all computers, phones, and ipads!!
