Fixing a hacked Iphone

So first things first... my Iphone has never been Jail Broken, but A couple weeks ago I was on this one webpage and out of no where a message poped up saying, that my Iphone had been hacked, it had no other button for me to get out of the alert other than a "done" button...my phone started heating up alot, and didnt cool after a couple minutes... At first I ignored it thinking it was just a simple spam alert from the website, but since then, my phone's data has been slow and not working... It's horribly exagerating how long it takes for stuff to load, and this has never happened with my phone. Asside from that I have recieved messages saying that I have used alot of my data since the day of the alert. I have never once recieved these messages prior to the incident and out of all the times... I find it quite funny my data is being used the most when now a days I rarely have time to check my phone... I have unlimited data. Help would really be appreciated, and please... I would like a solution, not a "Iphones can't be hacked argument" thanks!

Hello izagui,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that after while visiting a website, you received a strange message and have been experiencing high data usage, along with slow data speed, and higher temperatures since. I can surely see how this would be concerning, especially since it seems your data is being used when your rarely checking the iPhone. I've got some steps I'd like you to try.

First, I recommend following the steps below to delete history, cache, and cookies from Safari:

To clear your history and cookies, tap Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. Clearing your history, cookies, and browsing data from Safari won't change your AutoFill information.

To remove other stored information, tap Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data.

To visit sites without leaving a history, turn private browsing on or off.

When there's no history or website data to clear, the setting turns gray. The setting might also be gray if parental controls are set for websites. To check your settings, go to Settings > General > Restrictions, then scroll to Allowed Content.

Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the issue persists, try restarting your iPhone. This can resolve many unexpected behaviors.
