2.2Ghz vs 2.5Ghz 2015 Macbook Pro 15" Base Model

I'm planing to buy a Base model 15" Macbook Pro 2015. I just want to ask is the upgrade to 2.5Ghz from the base model worth it?

I'm a hobbyist photographer. Will be using it mostly for 80% Lightroom and 20% Photoshop. Will probably do some video editing here and there but just to post on social media, nothing professional.

Will I notice a big difference in speed? Like booting up, installing stuff but specifically in the Develop Module of lightroom when moving the sliders to adjust colors etc?

Sorry, I don't use it so I can't give you specifics, however, if you look at the percentage difference on the multi-core performance, that will give you some idea. The longer and heavier the CPU usage is, the more the difference would be noticed. On a short thing like booting, or installing apps, things like that, the difference will be very minor; if something were to take like 100 minutes long, and the percentage difference between the two CPUs was about 8%, then the difference would be something like eight minutes, so it would be a more significant difference for very long tasks. So I would consider how many very long tasks I was going to do, and decide if the time difference was worth the extra cost.
