The two devices worked well together until we changed our wifi network. I know it is fixable because it has happened once before and apple care helped me resolve it. It was not an intuitive fix.

The Canon documents for this printer states that it only has a USB interface? Is that correct? That is, is doesn't have either wired or wireless network connectivity?
If that is the case, how do you have this printer connected? To a USB port on your Mac? To the USB port on an AirPort base station? ... or something else?
