HOW OLD IS MY MAC...REALLY!!!!
I am trying to establish the age of a Macbook Pro. I am using this site's Serial Number Search facility, 'Find your serial number', (How to identify MacBook Pro models - Apple Support), and it reveals that this is a MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012). HOWEVER! On the back of this laptop it says that something called FCC ID: QDS-BRCM1055 TM and IC: 4324A-BRCM1055 TM and © 2015 Apple Inc. All rights reserved.
Is this a 2015 model or is it a 2012 model. To the uninitiated this is a little disconcerting since the writing on the back of this laptop to me could suggest that it is a 2015 model, but the serial number search suggests that it is a 2012. So which is it? Anyone know what this all means?
