iPhone 7 plus does not ring only vibrate

I had this problem too but have now resolved. I put on a phone protector and when I did that it pushed my "do not disturb button" (left side of phone; the little button at the top of the other two larger buttons; that moves either back or forward). I took the protector off, pushed the button forward and my phone started ringing when I received calls. Hopefully this is your issue too and it can be quickly resolved.

Thanks so much for sharing this. I now fixed mine. In fact this little button is quite useful to turn on/off the sound when you're in a meeting or in class. Good feature after all, once you know about it.

Well, many millions of iPhone 7 plus were sold.

Your post is the only one here and it's hard to believe after swapping the iPhone, the issue returns.

A few questions:

1. Is Do not Disturb ON?

2. Is the mute switch (left side of iPhone) ON?

3. Is ring volume slider max?

If after restore you have this issue means the backup is corrupted.

Try:

1. Make a backup using your computer iTunes

2. Restore as new without the backup

3. Test it for a day and if everything is fine.

4. Restore from backup.

If the issue is back, you cannot use the backup.

THANK YOU! Indeed never saw the "third" small switch above the two and a red line was showing. I pushed the switch up and voila...ring tones are all working! Funny, I read your solution while on hold for an iPhone rep to answer.
