reporting a scam

i received an email today i think its a scam, as soon as i clicked the pdf attachment 'apple support' it opened but when i clicked 'click here' it took ages to load and my avast anti-virus warned me it was a threat and said the site was harmful to my computer can someone please tell me if this is a scam or what because it doesn't look right,

It's phishing email, iTunes doesn't send emails about accounts being locked (and the emails that they do send are in proper grammatical language and are personalised) - you could forward it to Apple : reportphishing@apple.com , and then delete it.
