While installing Avast VPN, I was prompted with the following: neagent wants to use your confidential information stored in com.avast.osx.secureline in your keychain

What does this signify?User uploaded file

Do I have a virus? I thank-you in advance.

I Thank-you for your immediate reply but I have reason to believe that I have an MitM attack.

My windows HP is dead and all files wiped out.

I changed the router and installed this VPN to protect the MAC. I don't know how else to defend myself? But I can tell you that the MAC is performing better after having changed the router.

You do not show any known "Bad Actors" except that security scanner and Bit defender, which are likely slowing down your Mac enormously.

To run Sierra or ElCapitan with a Rotating drive, you need More than 4GB of RAM to avoid delays and general lack of responsiveness. You may be able to squeak by in just 4GB if you had an SSD drive (which you do not).

what's this?

also, to make a Mac running ElCapitan or Sierra adequately responsive, you need one or more of:

More than 4GB or RAM

an SSD boot drive.
