I frequently use the Play Next feature in Apple Music to create a playlist on the fly when we're driving somewhere. But I've noticed that some songs when you press and hold them, the Play Next option isn't available and I can't figure out any rhyme or reason to it. Anyone know whether that's a bug or on purpose?
I think I've figured this out.
The Play Next feature automatically disappears when the GPS determines you're moving above a certain rate of speed. In other words, it's meant as a safety feature to discourage interaction while driving. The feature returns as soon as you're parked or walking.
Only thing that ***** is it can't tell when you're just a passenger. I get the safety aspect but there ought to be a way to figure out you aren't driving.
Why is "play next" not available sometimes or on some songs?
