I Want to use my I pen with the iPad Pro to write in Pages and documents.
Can I do that?
There is no mention of Apple Pencil support in the Pages app description in the iOS App Store.
There is just common stylus support where normally you can use your finger.
To date, there is no Apple Pencil support for Pages, Numbers OR Keynote for iOS.
It is a sad revelation on the "business" acumen of the good folks at Apple who design products. More especially products that they anticipate going mainstream - to compete with the Office suite of business applications. The Apple Pencil not being compatible with Apple's own business software, Pages, Numbers and Keynote is simply sad!
As a former Aperture aficionado I am not surprised!
For any documents or apps that store documents or PDFs that support the Apple Pencil, do a search in the iOS App Store for
Apple Pencil Apps.

Until they upgrade Pages, try using the Notes app with the AP.
