unable to edit multiple items after iTunes 12.6 update

I'm having the exact same problem.

I make the change that I want, press enter, and NOTHING happens.

Changes only apply when they are all within the same album.

This is definitely an issue that has started recently.

I take it back, I assumed this was referring to multi-track get info in general. As others have mentioned it still works if everything is in the same album, which is what I tested, but trying to make changes to multiple albums does seem to be broken when using the Recently Added view. 😮 Switch to Songs and it should still be OK.

Unlike others who indicate the ability to make edits within an album, I cannot. No matter what I have tried, i cannot edit multiple items in multiple songs, be it the artist field, or album name field, or what have you.

More and more the quality of Apple is getting worse and worse!

I have this problem as well. I can confirm that switching to the "Songs" view works

Have you tried using View > View As > Songs first?

it looks like the original issue is fixed in iTunes 12.6.1; workaround not needed anymore?

I still have this issue. The view as workaround doesn't work, and I have the latest update, 12.6.2. I'm about to punch my computer.
