After my iMac restarted with today's update my LaCie hard drive is not visible, needing to mount it manually. This never was a problem before. I restarted the Mac and the same problem. What happened, did the update change something in my External Hard drive.
iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.4)

However, has anyone elsie lost their text replacements? They are in the keyboard preferences but they don't come up when I use them.
I have tried all of the above, even resetting PRAM with not success. My iMac starts slowly and my external hard drive needs to be mounted manually. This is since update 12.4. Very tiresome!

I still have not been able to resolve the problem. I still have to mount my LaCie manually
For me this was a temporary fix only, problem came back after several restarts, and my iMac startup is still very slow.
I am hoping that the next update, 10.12.5 will fix all the problems with 12.4.
True for the most part 10.12.4 is good, on my MacBook Pro it is flawless, it is my iMac that has the problem brought on by 10.12.4.
Okay, I'll check out the Mercury drives, and I'll try hooking up one of mine to a different Mac. Thanks!
