No Available Windows
New MacBook Pro out of the box. When I try to run any software, I get a message saying "No Available Windows" and I can't run anything. Sometimes a restart fixes it. Any ideas?

I have a brand-new15" MacBook Pro that I ordered with extra memory and storage online. I was so excited to get my editing station to find it also says no available windows right out of the box. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it?
Don't waste your time. Put it back in the box and return it for a full cash refund. Buy another one.
Thanks to all. Updating to 10.12.4 didn't fix it, so back to the store I go.
Unfortunately I won't know until Monday. Our local Mac store is very busy. (My user is NOT happy. I don't blame her.)
THANK YOU! This worked ......
