iTunes 12.6 exclamation point and Traktor Pro.

Since upgrading to iTunes 12.6, every time I purchase a song through the iTunes store, it always has an exclamation point next to it.

However, I have no problems playing the song. In fact, if I play the song, the exclamation point goes away.

I know this is a minor inconvenience, but I feel this is impacting another piece of software I use: Traktor Pro.

Traktor Pro seems to have lost the ability to see the song metadata and album art since I installed iTunes 12.6. Traktor has no problems playing/analyzing the tracks, but I have to re-input all the metadata and album art.

Some will say that this is a Traktor problem, and I would be quick to believe that - if it weren't for that initial exclamation point in iTunes. I think something else is going on. I'm just not sure what it is.

Anyone else having this problem?

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12.3)

Hi,

I believe it is a bug introduced by iTunes 12.6. I have not purchased anything lately but I use iTunes Match and on a few occasions when I've selected remove download then downloaded the matched version, I get the ! but the track still played OK. On further investigation, whilst the track downloaded OK, the metadata was missing.

I suggest that you provide feedback to Apple http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html

You might want to consider reverting to 12.5.5 until the next build of iTunes comes out. I too am having this problem. It happens happens when you download a song. If you just add it to your library then everything seems to be fine. But when I download it there seems to be a problem with the exclamation showing and my artwork disappears. It comes back after I play then song but it is kind of annoying.
