macbook pro with latest op system .ricoh printer driver doesnt have media type option for thick paper mode

my macbook pro has latest op system and installed ricoh print driver and there is no option for media type, trying to print thick paper and not good quality need thick paper option and cant see it anywhere, ricoh logged onto my mac and they did c it either

If it's the same as the Ricoh I am connected to, the options are located in a different place that you can only see once you have opened the printer dialog. Try this:


Open Notes or any other program that loads a document and choose "Print".

Make sure that the Ricoh is the selected printer (if you have any others)

You should see a printer dialog window with various drop-downs, defaulted to the "Notes" category. If you look deeper in that dropdown, there are settings for paper type, feed, option trays, etc. Hope this is helpful to you.

Hopefully, you did not give someone at Ricoh your administrator password to sign in to your Mac. If you did, are you certain they didn't snoop around your personal information too? At minimum, change that password.


Ricoh either has a thick paper option in their Mac printer driver for your printer model, or they don't. Nothing anyone here can do to change that.


Have you confirmed that you have the most recent Ricoh printer drivers installed specific to the version of the Mac operating system that you are using?
