Apple TV switching itself on

Hi everybody,

After updating to tvOS 10.2, my AppleTV switches itself on - I would say every 10 minutes. Switching of doesn't solve it, it switches itself on and on....

Does anybody know that issue?

Hi mtalhelm. Do you have Plex on your Android phone? If so, you can turn off the AirPlay scan in its System settings.

Thank you! That did the trick! I kind of thought it might have something to do with Plex. I did not know that setting was turned on. Thank you very much!

I believe to have found a solution, it works on my 2 Apple TVs. I just went to the AirPlay Setup section and set a Password. Since I did that it won't wake up anymore.

I have the same issue. After I have stopped the twonkey on my Qnap NAS the problem has not occured again.

Hi Anuj Kumar. I don't think so. The automatic updates are done while the device sleeps.
