Home Button unresponsive after 10.3 Update

Hi,

After updating my iphone 7 Plus 128 GB to iOS 10.3, my home button has become unresponsive.

When in an app, it sometimes takes more than one press of the home button to return back to the home screen.

On the failed press, I feel the haptic feedback so this means that the phone is registering the press, it's just not minimizing the app for some reason.

I have tried to reset the iPhone and also tried a full restore.

This only started after the update to 10.3.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

It is extremely frustrating.

I think the only way Apple will take notice is if you go to the correct Govt body, in Australia that would be Consumer Affairs, most countries would have similar

Any new reported problem? or all home button issues are solved by 10.3.2?

My 5s had lots of issues also, updating to 10.3.2 fixed most although it just rebooted itself again

Hi,

All issues resolved in 10.3.2 update.

I am using the iPhone 7 plus and have not had the home button issue since updating.

I don't think it matters what they do if they don't fix the bugs they have or are all these update issues designed to force consumers to buy the newer products

I'm on an Iphone 6 with ios 10.3.3 and today, out of the blue, the home button just doesn't work. Tried absolutely everything to no avail. Have the "screen home button" for now
