'Shuffle' Repeats Songs on Large Playlists

iOs 10.2.1 - iPhone 6s - Music app

when shuffling large (50+) playlists, i find that the music app starts to repeat blocks of songs after a while. it seems that, instead of taking a list of songs, randomizing it and removing each song from the list as it plays, it keeps randomizing the whole list continually. most of my playlists are 100+ songs and i rarely hear them all before it starts duping them.

is anyone else having this problem or know a fix?

iPhone 6s, iOS 10.2.1

I'm having the exact same problem. I use Apple Music and when I play a large block of songs the playlist shuffles the songs randomly, sometimes repeating songs in sequence. I'm about to give up and switch to Spotify or Amazon Music.

Does apple have any fix or solution for this yet? I shuffle 20+ hours of music on my commute to work every morning, and it never fails that within 20 minutes I am hearing the same songs repeating in the shuffle. Reshuffling the playlist doesn't help either; it still winds up playing the same sets of songs. Pretty ridiculous in my opinion.

Same here, I have over 1100 songs and iTunes plays the same 50-60 songs over and over, maybe adding in a new one once in a while. Also the songs it plays over and over are not the ones I have marked with stars as favorites. What is going on with this, will this get fixed?
