Apple TV turns on randomly after tvOS 10.2 update?

Plex is a media server that runs on several platforms, and a app for mobile devices.

And this change to behavior that Apple has released is not considered a bug?

I have an issue as well.

When i press the volume button then my Philips TV shutdown.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

Hi Stenfeldt. I suggest you post a new question for this, since it seems like a different issue. Have you tried retraining the volume buttons?

I allready did that but it seams that nobody is looking into ostv discussions.

How do I retrain my volume button?

Under Settings > Remotes and Devices > Volume Control > Learn New Device. You'll need the TV remote.

I have the same error, but I do not understand why my Apple TV has to wake me up to send me a message that I do not care about !!

Hi thomasfromtacoma. You probably do have something. Try turning off (not just sleep) all your network devices and see if it stops. Also, use the feedback link already posted.

I found my problem: the DLNA service of MyCloudMirror NAS.

When disabling the DLNA service the problem disappears, but isn't normal.

At this point this is a bug introduced in the latest OS and we can wait only...

The Apple Engineers have discovered this bug and will be patching it in the tvOS 10.2.1 release.

Any clue when it's being released?

I hope they also fix the volume button issue!!

This nonsense is happening to my Apple TV.

No NAS, no plea or any other items seemingly mentioned previously!

This is annoying beyond belief.

Updated today - problem remains.
