Missing EXS24 Factory Samples folder...

Missing EXS24 Factory Samples folder...

I cannot find my Logic Pro X EXS24 Factory Samples folder... I have looked in Application Support / Logic, its not there. All I see there is a folder called Sampler Instruments, which has a few custom .exs files in it from stuff I added to the EXS 24... The folders i see in there are Audio Files, Channel Strip Settings, Data Management Settings, Key Commands, Patches, Plug-In Settings, Project Templates, Sampler Instruments, SoundFont Samples, and Temp....

I don't seem to have a Library folder in my User folder, so its not there either... can I re-install this? do i need to reinstall the whole app?

Hi

The Library and its files are hidden by default. To show them do this:

Hold down the Option key and select Library from the Go menu in Finder.

To make it permanently visible, Show View Options for your Home folder. Check the box to show the Library.

So what happens in Logic when you try to load an EXS24 instrument?

Does it load? It does? Then you were looking in your User Library. The EXS factory samples folder is in the root Library.

It can be a bit confusing that there are three different Library folders though.

Thanks, but I already have revealed my Library folder. I know that procedure. I am saying that when I look inside the Library folder, into Application Support / Logic, the EXS24 Factory Samples is not there.
