If one AirPod is louder than the other

When I listening to my AirPods it sounds like my right AirPod is slightly louder than the left. I even replaced the left one on an Apple Store, but still having the same issue. Unpair/Pair was another try.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Thanks!!

Hello,

I just read something weird on another website but strangely, it worked!!!

😮

Try to "suck" the biggest speaker on the airpod that you don't ear as well with and wipe it after. It was earwax that was stuck... Airpod is as loud as the other one now.

😉

Good Luck !!!

My right earpod was so quiet to the point where I thought it was broken. Tried the sucking technique, made very little difference. Took a cotton bud, doused it in medical alcohol and cleaned the grid on the earpod. Then used Air-In-a-Can to blow out excess alcohol and earwax. Problem sorted. Who thought earwax would have that effect on an earbud.

I had the same issues. Took them to Apple and they replaced the bad bud. The original airpods are nutorious for getting jammed with ear wax. I ordered AirPod pros because there design is less likely to get jammed with ear wax. The day I got my new AirPod pros I forgot about my original ones and accidentally sent them through the washing machine in my pocket! They fell out and tumbled around. When I found them I stuck them in some rice for a few days incase they had water inside of them and to my surprise a week later when I tested them it fixed the volume issue!!😂 I wouldn’t suggest this but I thought it was pretty funny. Now I have a backup pie of wireless buds.

Sucking out the liquid wax buildup actually works. For me, it was the left that was lower than the right. It was considerable, to the point where you could barely hear anything out of the left side. I think headphones open your ear canal enough to allow that fluid to drain into the headphones. I recommend cleaning them after every use. A paper business card corner works wonders for cleaning around the screen, and also your charging case. -SLY

Hello! I just tried the sucking air through your AirPod trick and it worked!!! I first read it and told the people I was sitting with at the table and they thought it was disgusting but, once again, it worked!! I recommend taking a qtip and getting as much earwax out was possible first and disinfecting it as well. Then just suck air through until you feel air coming through and, ta da!!! Good as new! The only bad thing about this is that you feel gross for a little while and question some life questions... but try it out!!! 😂😊
