If one AirPod is louder than the other

When I listening to my AirPods it sounds like my right AirPod is slightly louder than the left. I even replaced the left one on an Apple Store, but still having the same issue. Unpair/Pair was another try.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Thanks!!

One of the most common reasons why one AirPod may sound louder than the other is the accumulation of dirt, dust, or earwax on the speaker grills. To clean your AirPods, you can use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of each AirPod. You can also use a dry cotton swab to reach the hard-to-reach areas, such as the small cracks and crevices.

For the speaker grills, you can use a soft-bristle brush or a toothbrush to gently brush away any debris that may be stuck on them. Do not use any liquid or sharp objects to clean your AirPods, as this may damage them or cause water damage. After cleaning your AirPods, make sure they are completely dry before placing them in the charging case or using them again. This way, you can ensure that your AirPods sound balanced and clear.

I might say this is the best method to fix this issue, However there are other fixes too, but I can't elaborate each one, its best you search on google and find a relevant guide or you can visit this guide that has provided 8 Solutions on how to fix volume on one AirPod lounder then other

Or try the no grosso method and hear up the oval-shaped screen that the sound emits from with a blow dryer and usa Q-tip and rub it back forth over the screen until you no longer pick up anymore ear wax. I, too, sucked and then thought to myself a) this is kind of gross b) who in the past year or so has asked to use the? c) wouldn't this work better if you heated up the ear wax and pick up the less solid wax with a Q-tip?

I would heat the screen at 30 second intervals and then dampen the Q-tip, and rub vigorously back and forth over the screen. Keep one side of the Q-tip dry and use that, too.

I had this problem until I went further into the comments and read what people suggested. Here is what worked for me:

Take an old toothbrush you don't use anymore, and some alcohol wipes. First, use the alcohol wipes and wipe the screen of the pod face down (so othat no liquid goes inside). Then use the toothbrush and scrub the screen of the pod gently. Next, I know it sounds gross, but using just the edge of your lips, suck the pod to get any stuck ear wax out of the pod. Then repeat the process until you visibly can't see any earwax on the rim of the airpod.

My airpod fixed itself as soon as I did this, but make sure to check if you can hear from both sides clearly. Hope this helps!

I am... shocked that this worked. I’ve had this same issue with my left AirPod for about 3 months now, I reset my settings, changed my hearing sensitivity, nothing seemed to work. If I’m being honest, I thought I had hearing loss in that ear. Anyways- I read this and laughed like anyone would because it sounds ridiculous. I gave it a go and I’m shocked because I’ve never heard my AirPods sound this clear. Thank you so much!!

Hello, i found something that might help.

Go to your settings and find Accessibility.

Scroll to “Audio/Visual”

Scroll all the way down, you will see a scale to which you can balance the sound in your headphones. If the left airpod isn’t playing as much sound as the right one, or vice versa, go to the middle, and scroll the scale just a tad bit to the side who isn’t playing as much sound. This is what’s helped me. :)
