If one AirPod is louder than the other

When I listening to my AirPods it sounds like my right AirPod is slightly louder than the left. I even replaced the left one on an Apple Store, but still having the same issue. Unpair/Pair was another try.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Thanks!!

One of the most common reasons why one AirPod may sound louder than the other is the accumulation of dirt, dust, or earwax on the speaker grills. To clean your AirPods, you can use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of each AirPod. You can also use a dry cotton swab to reach the hard-to-reach areas, such as the small cracks and crevices.

For the speaker grills, you can use a soft-bristle brush or a toothbrush to gently brush away any debris that may be stuck on them. Do not use any liquid or sharp objects to clean your AirPods, as this may damage them or cause water damage. After cleaning your AirPods, make sure they are completely dry before placing them in the charging case or using them again. This way, you can ensure that your AirPods sound balanced and clear.

I might say this is the best method to fix this issue, However there are other fixes too, but I can't elaborate each one, its best you search on google and find a relevant guide or you can visit this guide that has provided 8 Solutions on how to fix volume on one AirPod lounder then other

Yep. I first had the problem a few months ago. Cleaned the screen with a toothpick. Happened again. Again used toothpick. Didn't work. Then I read this thread and the sucking thing worked. That's pretty foul, but at least it's my gunk. It's microscopic as I detect nothing at all in my mouth after I do this. Apple needs to address this. Sucking invisible earwax out of a speaker is a less than great workaround, especially at this price point.

I had taken mine to the Apple Store today as mine was doing the same thing where the right earbud was so quiet you almost couldn't hear it at all. It looked totally clean and I even tried cleaning it out as best I could. The Genius at the Genius Bar took one look at both of them and showed that on the left one you could clearly see the speakers behind the grill and on the right one you could not. While it looked clean, there was wax buildup under the screen. Not sure what he did to clean it out as he took them in the back, and when he came back out, he had cleaned both of them and you could clearly see the speakers now in both, but when he handed them back to me and told me to try them out, almost immediately I got a text and the sound that played through the AirPods blew me across the room with the volume they were at (apparently they both needed cleaned) and now they sound just like they did when they were brand new. I will have to try this sucking method if it happens again as I can see it making sense, but I really wish I knew what he did to get them so clean. I haven't found anything that can get "in" the screen grill to clear them out.

I have the same issue.....I also notice that as of now under settings and under general ...Accessibility.... when I go to adjust volume balance NOTHING happens.

Also to the comment of "suck the ear wax out" YUCK!

I have however been using a toothbrush(not using oil teeth) and hole the earpiece so no fluid can run into it and lightly rub the "grate" with alcohol to break up and remove any ear wax.

Still right ear is WAY lower in volume than left.

I am using an iPhone X with latest version iOS 11.2.2

This issue is when paired with any apple device.
